Blah blah blah...

some poems to fill space here. from various sources of mine, including issues of spangle zines, old blog posts, backs of chem papers, and notes apps across multiple phones.

medical maladies:

angels of sickness and health, one one each of the four bed posts

contorting their bodies into various shapes, to my liking

those long necked birds, those fuckers are sending me mixed messages

one side telling me i miss it bad, miss the condition

and one, wordless, filling in the holes in my gums

~

from the fish tanks:

weird, warped fishies

closer to amorphous blobs than real animals

refracted a hundred and one times through the tanks glass

a hundred goldfish made from one

thin skinned and sick to death, all of them

rags for fins and paper skin, poor things

and still, no one had nuthin on the pocossamus

who was still as a statue

who was gathered around in mourning

for a good dead friend, with mans hooks in him

and so said leland, the one one with all the rich, real gold peeled off

with the pale white scales where the muscle used to be

(so, god rests his soul. god digs a three inch hole in the neon colored rocks and buries him.)

then said his wife, his old ball and chain

(hun, were supposed to be fish. stop talking like this.)
